On 22nd August 2006 the SCaRF sponsored refurbished laboratories were officially opened. The labs, refurbished rooms and fully re-equipped, are part of the University of Bristol's Micro-vascular Research facilities and were sponsored by the Charity. This sponsorship helped Dr Dave Bates, the Director, to gain further sponsorship. The SCaRF labs contain about £80,000 worth of equipment, some donated, some upgraded and some new. Pictures below give an idea of the opening ceremony and the facilities.
